Defence in Depth Part 3

Welcome back once again for part 3 of Defence in Depth. The final layer of protection is the full endpoint (Local PC) backup. You can have all the protection in the world for your cloud environment however lots of important business critical data can and often is stored locally, however what happens when your computer completely fails, either from malicious act, failed hardware or lost entirely?

Enter Endpoint Backup for PC, a complete image backup of your whole computer stored in the cloud in a secure location. All data uploaded is digitally secured using high level encryption so it cannot be intercepted, similarly all images are securely downloaded when they are deployed again.

Images taken are non hardware specific, meaning that you can deploy onto a completely new system should that be required. The full image taken will include all programs you previously had installed, along with all files and folders, preferences and saved logins. This means that when the unfortunate DOES happen, you can have your old system back as quickly as possible exactly as you had it.

The whole system is automated and we can restore anything from 1 single file, several folders or the whole system, restoration is granular.

This product is available as a subscription through us as a standalone or as part of a contract agreement alongside our other products, please check out some of our other products here. Please note that this product is currently limited to 1.5 terabytes.

Just one more thing…

Why the photo of the back of a car? It is a reversing light, used when backing up. I had to add this explanation as Clive did not get the reference!

…and another thing…

Remember they are IT support specialists – not stand up comedians, which is probably a good thing.
