This week I have been replacing a server which has been failing to do it’s job.
We have decided to replace it with a much simpler device. As all it was being used for was authentication. It didn’t store any files nor did it provide email services. What we have done is to put the company on our hosted exchange server for their email and use a simple NAS device to store their data. This also allows them to access all their email and data remotely.
As you can see it takes up a lot less space and there is much less to go wrong. Our hosted exchange comes with a copy of Outlook 2010 for just £6.50 a month per mailbox it also has a huge 10gb capacity.
